Eric Metaxas is a New York Times bestselling author best known for two biographies, Amazing Grace: William Wilberforce and the Heroic Campaign to End Slavery, the official companion book to the feature film Amazing Grace, and Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy, which appeared on numerous 2010 “Best of the Year” lists.

His writing has appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, Christianity Today, National Review Online, Beliefnet and First Things.  He has been featured as a cultural commentator on CNN, the Fox News Channel and other television networks, as well as a radio guest on NPR, Hugh Hewitt and Bill Bennet.

Metaxas has written over 30 children’s videos and books, and scripts for the popular animated series VeggieTales.

His trademark wit and compelling content make Metaxas a sought-after speaker.

He was the keynote speaker at the 2012 National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C., an event attended by the President and First Lady.  His latest book, published in December 2012, is No Pressure, Mr. President! The Power of True Belief in a Time of Crisis: The National Prayer Breakfast Speech.
