Event Details:

Montgomery County Emergency Assistance (MCEA) is excited about the 2013 Great American Duck Race presented by Entergy to be held at 3pm, July 4th at the Rob Fleming Aquatic Center in the Village of Creekside in The Woodlands. Rubber duck adoptions sell (1) for $5 or a Quack Pack of (6) for $25 and are available at the MCEA Conroe location, online at www.mcea-tx.org, and by calling Margie Taylor at 936.539.1096.
Over 10,000 individually numbered (adopted) rubber ducks will be dropped down the 2 story waterslide at the aquatic center pool and then the ducks swim their way through the lazy river to the finish line for prizes! If your duck has the pre-selected number chosen prior to the race and finishes in the top 10, you win the Grand Prize of a 2014 Buckalew Chevrolet Camaro! (need not be present to win).
The MCEA Great American Duck Race gives you the opportunity to win a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro and helps Montgomery County residents in need.  All funding from Duck Adoptions and this fundraising event benefit our programs and allow MCEA to help a family with rent, utilities, life skills, and basic necessities.  Be a part of solving the issues that many families face.  Donate today or adopt a duck by visiting www.mcea-tx.org or calling Margie Taylor at 936-539-1096 to get involved.  Your involvement through volunteerism, duck purchases, or prize donations will go a long way to benefit MCEA families.
