Robotics Camp is for children entering into 3rd grade or older.
Extended Day available.

A Mayan Adventure is this year’s theme for Robotics Camp 2013.  Campers will join the adventure of Evan and his archaeologist uncle as they explore the newly discovered tomb of the ancient Mayan King Ixtua.  As campers explore the Mayan pyramid, there will be traps and treasures that will require them to use a variety of Lego NXT Mindstorm Robots as they move deeper into the tomb and uncover King Ixtua’s secrets.  Along the way, campers will learn engineering concepts and use a design methodology that will teach them about robot motors and sensors.  They will learn to build and program their robots to meet the challenges of this enjoyable journey.

Pilgrim’s Robotics Camp is design to excite elementary and middle school children about math, science and teamwork using robotics as a teaching tool.  Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education is a fundamental part of Robotics Camp and the Mayan Adventure experience in an engaging ‘hands-on, minds-on’ environment.
