The Galveston Park Board of Trustees and Artist Boat is offering a hands-on program to engage the public in Environmental Stewardship! Come learn about the dune plants that support nesting sea turtles, attract birds and butterflies, and learn planting skills along the beachfront.  This project will also help reduce erosion and serves to naturally beautify the Galveston Seawall Boulevard.  This is a great placed-based learning experience for families and home school groups!  We welcome people of all ages to attend! Registration can be done through Artist Boat by email: khoward@artistboat.org or phone: 409-770-0722

Take I-45 south to Galveston Island and exit 61st Street.  Turn right on 61st Street until you reach Seawall Blvd. The event will be just left of the pier at 61st Street and Seawall Blvd.  Call ahead for directions (409) 770-0722
