Our Ministry Spotlight for the Follow You Tour is: The Mission.
October is “Pack the Pantry” month where our focus will be to stock local food banks and assistance ministries for the upcoming holidays.
Listeners are asked to bring the following donations to the Follow You Tour:
The Mission began in 1995 as an outreach of Forest Cove Baptist Church, and incorporated in 1999 becoming their own 501 (c) 3 faith based organization. They have grown from assisting 64 individuals in 1995 to helping over 20,000 individuals each year. The Mission addresses physical, emotional and spiritual needs of each person offering chapel, prayer ministry, life skills and job training to break the generational cycle of poverty. Serving 9 area zip codes including Kingwood, Porter, New Caney, Splendora, Huffman and Conroe, they are blessed with a volunteer staff of 82 and a dedicated staff of 5 who work each day to change their community one life at a time through the love of Jesus Christ.
