Color Your Life

A new book suggests that there’s more to life than white and beige.  “Color Your Life” by Elaine Ryan recommends decorating your home in shades that reflect your personality.  It features a color bar color matching system to help you spot the colors they love best.  For more information and to ask the author questions, visit www.ElaineRyan.com.

You Can Make a Difference

We talked about a way you can help homeless women crisis, just by cleaning out your closet!  It’s a special partnership with KSBJ’s We Care and The Women’s Home of Houston.  The Women’s Home is a multi-ethnic, non-denominational non-profit organization that serves women who have experienced homelessness because of mental illness, abuse or addiction.  You can volunteer, donate items, or donate money.  You can also shop at their semi-annual sidewalk sale coming up Friday, June 1st!  I hear they have AMAZING bargains.  All the proceeds go straight back to The Women’s Home

Minute From the Message:  Romans 15:1-2

“Those of us who are strong and able in the faith need to step in and lend a hand to those who falter, and not just do what is most convenient for us. Strength is for service, not status. Each one of us needs to look after the good of the people around us, asking ourselves, “How can I help?”  When you decided to accept God’s forgiveness of your sins through Jesus Christ, he sees you as perfect and blameless, and will restore your life even better than it was before  Call us and we can help you at 281-446-KSBJ.

Pray for My Child

Today we’re praying for Julie’s 3 children; Brittany (18) and Bryan (15), and Brendon (7) .  Brittany just moved into her own apartment with  friends and plans on going to a Junior College this fall. Bryan is not sure about God, involved with a troubled girl, and  was at one time a straight A student, but has not cared about anything else besides this girl.  Julie is a single mom.  If you want us to pray for your child just send us an email.
