This morning I had the opportunity of a lifetime and was invited to ride in Thunderbirdof the USAF Thunderbirds. I had no idea what to expect but once I arrived to Ellington Filed to prep for my flight, I was welcomed and blown away at how courteous, gracious and thorough the Thunderbirds were. The flight was beyond words and I have a newfound appreciation for the men and women who serve our country everyday – their diligence, integrity and heart are so profound.

I had a chance to talk to SSgt Russ J Martin  about the Thunderbirds show and also what it takes to become a Thunderbird.
