With five child drownings in recent months Houston police and CPS officials warned parents to carefully supervise their children. One obvious and often overlooked point, keep a sharp eye on them.

Certain factors will actually lower your risk. If one or more of these criteria applies to you, you’re less likely to get divorced if…

• you have at least some college education. (13% decrease in risk)
• you have a religious affiliation. (14% decrease in risk )
• you’re parents are still married. (14% decrease in risk )
• you don’t get married until you’re at least 25.  (24% decrease in risk )
• you’re married for at least 7 months before having a baby. (24% decrease in risk )
• your annual income is over $50,000.  (30% decrease in risk )

KSBJ’s Morning Show featured by Houston Chronicle

Marie Miller

 Monday, Marie Miller, stopped by the studio.  She was in Houston for a free KSBJ Brownbag concert.    She’s only 18 years old and just getting started as a Christian Artist.  She’s one of 10 children in her family.  Her Dad is her Manager, one of her 5 sisters plays in her band and travels across the country with her.  She is an inspiring young woman.   Click here to listen to the interview…
