My Wife is Amazing!
So how do top this? We have been married for ten years now! It is obvious that I have definitely married up. I can’t top what Becky has said, but I should try.

I met Becky at Church. I was trying out new churches and I was visiting the college and career class. I was on the radio in a career and she was in college. Isn’t it great how that works out? She introduced herself to me at the after class dinner at El Chico restaurant. It truly was “you had me from hello”. From then on I couldn’t quit thinking about her. She was beautiful, and had a great smile.
I gave her the phone number to the Hotline at the country radio station I happened to be working at. She called up the number soon after, and she was the one that actually asked me out on our first date. We double dated with another couple to an Italian restaurant and then went bowling.
It is true, life has not been easy all the time. But through it all she has always been there. And like Becky said, I love her more today than when we first met.
I Love you Becky! You are the love of my life!!!

Congrats!! That’s awesome on 10 years! My hubbie and I just celebrated 7 years– God is soo Good!! So I love y’all in the morning, but I hate that I never get to hear anything by Jimmy Needham!! If you could play any of his stuff I would be so very, very happy!! God has seriously blessed that boy with an awesome set of pipes and an amazing ability to write such beautiful God-glorifying music. It just bums me out that his hometown radio station won’t play his music. My family and I are such big fans and would be so pleased to hear his music on your station!!!

Mike,
I received the video of Sky Angel Logan via email today. After watching the 700 Club clip, I couldn’t help but write and ask you this. Are you the same Kanklefritz that was on the air in Tulsa, OK a few years ago on of the two CCM stations there? I can’t remember if it was the new Cox one at 102.3 or the other one that was also fairly new to Tulsa? I now live in Kansas City but was living there at the time.
Anyway, just curious. Hope you all are weathering the storms safetly. God bless.

This is wonderful! We always hear women opening up like this but never men!! It’s nice to see one saying so many nice things about his wife and the way you ended your story was even better!!! How do you do it? I’ve been with my husband 7 yrs and sometimes I feel like I’ve lost my interest and feel like I want to run away for some days! This morning on your show you gave a cool website for couples to look in to and I FORGOT what it was!! Could you please post it on your page so that we can link in to it!!! Or if there is any other way I can get it would be great!!
Thank you!!

This is awesome! It is an example we as men should all follow. We get tied up in our acting all manly and macho and allow our feelings to be hid. I am sorry to tell you though I AM married to the most awesome woman alive! I came from some real bad relationships and a long line a rejection and belittling. When I married my wife I believed the lies of the enemy that in order to assure myself that I would never have to live though that anymore, I was to control my wife. I was very ignorant and mind controlling and just a regular bugger of a husband and man. It was later that I was delivered from the rejection that I had controlling me and for the first time in my life realized what true love was, and that was the love of God who took all my transgressions and iniquities and nailed them to the cross with Him. It was almost as if I needed glasses my entire life and now I had them, I saw things so much clearer. I then realized that the one that I tried to push away and control. I had beaten down emotionally all those years, was truly a gift from that same loving God. I thank God daily that she never left me when she had every chance and she believed God when He told her that she was going to have a Godly marriage. I thank you Lord for her and for this station and men like this who proudly lift their wives to the position that You intended for them to be. Great job guys! Thanks for loving God and coming to Christian radio!

Wow.. This is the first time I have gone on the website. Mike you did marry up, and Abby Grace has an enchanting smile, what a beautiful family, God has blessed you very much. We enjoy the morning show; I have a 45 minute commute the show makes it bearable. Have a great day.
