I don’t know about you, but I sometimes struggle with the voices in my head (not that I am Cybil or anything) -  messages might be a better way to put it!  I struggle with the unkind, mean or frustrated messages in my head – Some of them are aimed at myself – and other times at other people !  I try so hard to hear what  messages God would want me to know at times like this, but sometimes the other messages are louder!

I know God’s voice and His messages are loving and positive.  God would never allow me to major on the minor issues of my life or in the actions of others – but the messages that DO  that sometimes can get me caught up in the web of “stinkin thinkin”  Do you ever struggle with that?

I find myself trying really hard to work through the messages or replace them with a better message but sometimes it’s a royal struggle.  The good news is that God’s whispers of love and guidance can be much louder than those chaotic voices of pain and strain and “stinkin thinkin” if we will open our hearts to His message of love, compassion, forgiveness and grace. 

If I sound like I know how to shut it off once and for all – I’m sorry, I don’t mean to sound like I’ve gotten it done.  Truth is, it’s something I struggle with and pray about daily.  Maybe I’m the only one.  I hope no one else has to deal with that struggle – but I kind of think I’m not alone. 

I keep praying to know the sound of His voice (John 10:4) and to follow His ways not my own.  So, pray for me, and if you want I’ll pray for you too!
