listening this morning, I heard you say that fruit should be eaten as a dessert as an alternative to sugary desserts. years back I read a book on nutrition and irt was stated that fruit takes about 30 minutes to digest, therefore it should be eaten 30 minutes before any meal. The reason given was that if you eat it after the meal, given it’s short digestion time, it will essentially sit on top of the food and digest and then ferment and cause some gastric discomfort.
what are your thoughts on this?

C’mon guys…Thanksgiving only comes once a year. No, I suppose it’s no excuse to eat endlessly but if your really feeling guilty then amp up your calorie furnace a couple days before and twice on Thanksgiving. (Do 20 minutes of any cardio a day…even walking!) You can pray and give thanks during a brisk morning walk and after your noon nap, go for another one. Make it a family activity! You could walk about the local toy store with your small kiddos making your Christmas list.

And Bob…you could always listen to XM or Sirius satelitte radio instead. They play no commercials ….but they’re not even close to as good as KSBJ…no where near. KSBJ ROCKS!!!
