I just found out that we have gotten all of the volunteers we need to work the mornings with us at Sharathon!
Thank you! We’re so excited about Sharathon and now that we know we have enough of you to make sure we can answer all of those phone calls.

This is -bert- from Galveston County who used to email you a lot B4-IKE.
Today’s (Thursday) show was an enjoyable hour as I drove down FM 2004 towards Freeport and DOW Chemical. As I arrived at the Workforce Solution in Lake Jackson, you posted the question: “What are you doing to help the youth?” and it was the last thing I heard before turning off the engine. I smiled to myself and thought, if you only knew…
Through the Grace of God, my job this summer is to help find jobs for “Youth” ages 16-24 years old. We, as in Brazoria County, had a quota of “250 Participants” who, if were eligible, could be placed in jobs.
Last summer I worked with Alvin Community College (ACC) in this same program and we had 175 youth assigned and it grew to over 200. It was an incredible experience.
AND,
This past Monday, I started teaching at ACC for their “Kid’s College” section called:
-CYBERKIDS-
I walked into my first class and faced four (4) 2nd Graders! Yep, all boys of course!
Well, that’s about it for now. As my wife would say, “That was NOT the RDV of the story!” (Reader’s Digest Version).
Oh yeah, I was also able to share an apron at the grand-opening of a new cafe/market in Galveston, owned by a couple of cool ladies who are known as: Shy & Katz. What an incredible blessing they and their staff/family have been in my life. Praise God!
Keep up the great work. And yes, you are working with the BEST RADIO STATION IN THE worldddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd!

PS: Through the Grace of God, I saw a herd of Buffalo grazing in a field this morning on my way to the office. Very Cool.
