We’re starting off with a story that really needs our prayers – there was a commuter plane that crashed overnight in Buffalo, New York …all 48 souls on board were lost including at least one person on the ground. The plane was Continental Flight 3407. Please pray for those families and rescuers.
Please be praying for the family of the two people that did not survive the small plane crash near New Caney yesterday. Daniel Boyd Williams and his wife Rheta Lynn had come to visit their daughter when the accident occurred. Pray for the people in the neighborhood where the plane went down as well…this has to be traumatic for them too.

YUK! Inspectors at the Plainview, Texas Peanut plant say they’ve found rats and bugs and really yukky stuff around the food preparation area. They say they’re going to recall everything that plant put out too.

In this era of rapid-fire medical discoveries, it was bound to happen eventually. Scientists are one step away from curing the common cold. They announced yesterday they’ve mapped the DNA of all 100 strains of the cold and put together an eight-thousand piece puzzle.
Valentines Day is tomorrow, but a lot of people will be celebrating today too – since they’re at work and school. The Stores are decorated in hearts, flowers and bears – But what’s a single person to do if they don’t have a sweetheart to share with?…Psychologists say don’t feel lonely – find some activity that is enjoyable to you. Go out for dinner of the movies with a group of single friends. Treat yourself to a spa or buy some new shoes. If it makes you happy buy yourself some flowers and chocolates. Love on yourself! I always found that if you reach out to help others, you feel less lonely yourself!

My mother and I were excited to hear that Toby Mack was nominated for a grammy. We schedules our DVR to tape the show so that we could fast forward through the parts we weren’t really interested in. It saddened us to not get to see Toby receive his award live on TV. I wonder why the gospel awards weren’t aired. Do you have any ideas as to why?

My daughter goes to Palmer. Thank you for that little post. She was soo upset and she didn’t even know him. Paul’s heart failed and his pacer didn’t help. The saddest thing to me is that he didn’t even get to learn anything new that day, because he collapsed at 8:30, and that no one got to say good bye. Best wishes go out to them and thanks again. :)
