About Anne (in her words)
I discovered a relationship with Jesus while listening to a Christian radio station when I was 12. During my teenage years I wrote songs with my best friend who played piano down the street. I sang and she played piano. I went to college, earned a degree in broadcast, communications, and then felt I should learn about the music business so I moved to Nashville. That is where I met my husband. He worked at a record label there and we moved to Texas soon after the company her worked for was bought out. I worked as a radio news reporter in the San Antonio area and then in television in Corpus Christi. I moved to Houston over 10 years ago and decided to take a break to have children.
I came to KSBJ when a former co-worker of mine from my radio news days, Chelle, called me to ask me if I would want to fill in as a replacement for Susan O’Donnell and Amanda Carroll. I did that and loved it. Two years later I was asked to try hosting the Sunday Night Show, and I’ve been up there almost every Sunday producing shows ever since then.
I love connecting with people and offering them ideas on how to live a better life with Jesus. This show connects the listener to the radio like nothing else. It is live, interactive, and FUN. There’s often a tremendous amount of healing and information in that hour. I love every minute of it.
I’m always up for comments or ideas on topics. But if you want to dog me about my hair, take it up with the man upstairs! This hair is naturally curly after having two children. It was never curly before kids, only after! :) Beats having to pay for a perm!
