A Future and A Hope Conference is an adoption and foster conference that has been a part of the Austin community for over a decade. Learn about foster care, adoption and trauma-informed care at AFAH 2019.

There will be something for everyone: sessions for exploring foster care and adoption, and for post-adoptive families, and sessions for those who care about the social issues in our community.

A Future and A Hope is sponsored by Fostering Hope Austin

We are very excited to announce that Bob Goff will be our speaker! We are thrilled. Giddy even, and eager to share his inspiration beyond the foster care community.

Bob Goff will draw a crowd outside of foster care so we are inviting to the conference the most innovative non-profits who work with the homeless, prisoners, trafficking victims and those with unplanned pregnancies to demonstrate how all these social issues overlap with the common factor of foster care. AND that there is a single solution to all of the issues – healthy relationships and family.

Keynote speaker, Bob Goff, is the two time New York Times Best-Selling Author of both Love Does and Everybody Always, Honorary Consul to the Republic of Uganda, and an attorney who founded Love Does- a nonprofit human rights organization operating in Uganda, India, Nepal, Iraq, and Somalia. He’s a lover of balloons, cake pops and helping people pursue their big dreams. Bob’s greatest ambitions in life are to love others, do stuff, and most importantly hold hands with his wife Sweet Maria Goff and spend time with their amazing kids.
