About Passover 2019
“…and the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.” -Exodus 12:13 KJV
Greetings in the name of Yah (God) to The House of Study’s Passover Seder 2019!
Come gather together with The House of Study to share the collective experience of our people, whom Yah liberated from slavery in ancient Egypt to become His own treasured possession. During our Seder, we will eat special foods that help retell the story of the Israelites’ journey from slavery to freedom, and we will see how Yeshua (Christ Jesus) used the rituals of the Passover Seder to explain the deep meaning of the New Covenant, by revealing his sacrificial role as the Lamb of Yah who takes away the sins of the world. As believers in Yeshua (Christ Jesus), we are instructed to keep the Lord’s feasts and festivals, as prescribed in Leviticus 23.
” And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the Lord throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever”.- Exodus 12:14 KJV
