KSBJ Family Fun Patrol
When you invite the KSBJ Family Fun Patrol to your event, you will have the opportunity to share details of planned activities and important information about your organization with KSBJ listeners. The Family Fun Patrol also provides quality outdoor sound equipment for making announcements and filling the air with great Contemporary Christian Music heard on 89.3 KSBJ .
For a cost recovery value, the Family Fun Patrol is available Monday – Friday 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. as well as weekends, schedule permitting. Our availability for your event is subject to KSBJ special events and programming requirements. Click here to schedule your event or to get more information.
The Family Fun Patrol includes:
- Approximately two hours on-site presence
- KSBJ on-air personality
- Two 60 second on-the-air announcements from your event
- Assistance in welcoming your audience or communicating event details
- Remote broadcast support
The following cost recovery fees apply:
- $570 (less than 25 miles from KSBJ’s facilities in Humble, TX)
- $620 (within 25 – 50 miles from KSBJ facilities)
- $670 (more than 50 miles from KSBJ facilities)
NEW! KSBJ Traffic Remotes
KSBJ now offers an on location remote broadcast to help drive traffic to local events while we are doing afternoon traffic reports! Since host of the Family Fun Patrol, Bill Ingram, became the traffic reporter on the Afternoon Show, KSBJ wanted a new way to connect with the community and raise awareness for local events during the afternoon drive time.
The KSBJ Traffic Remote includes:
- Approximately 4 hours on-site presence
- KSBJ on-air personality
- Approximately 10 - 13 mentions of the name and location of your event
- Each mention includes a toss from the Afternoon Show host and a tag from the traffic reporter announcing the event name and location (approximately every 15 minutes from 3:30 through 6:45pm)
- Remote broadcast support

Cost recovery values are the same as the Family Fun Patrol values listed above.
NOTE: KSBJ must connect to a clean tie-line or internet link in order to secure a Traffic Remote broadcast.
KSBJ Professional Public Speakers
The KSBJ DJ team and staff are a seasoned and diverse group of professionals who enjoy sharing their experiences and gifts with others. Because of our diversity, we can offer professionally trained speakers equipped to discuss a variety of topics that would enhance the experience of your event.
If you would like a KSBJ professional to emcee or speak at an event, please consider the following:
- All requests should be made at least 21 days in advance of the event
- Please have a first and second choice when requesting a KSBJ personality
- Minimum Honorariums:
- Emcee - $200.00 /2 hours ($75.00 for each additional hour)
- Speaking Engagement - $300.00/ 2 hours ($75.00 for each additional hour)
- Retreats - $500/ 2 sessions
- *Note: All travel expenses will be charged the organization, rates vary
- Honorarium should be received at KSBJ at least two weeks prior to the event
- Honorarium should be in the form of a check or money order and should be made payable to KSBJ.

Once your request has been submitted, you'll receive a reply within 10 days confirming a KSBJ personality for your event. In some cases, KSBJ must decline requests based on staff availability and scheduling conflicts. We make every effort to confirm your requests. |
