'I listen to KSBJ every morning while taking my children to school. They know the songs and love the djs. We often hear the stories of God's hand in the lives of those that are struggling. We pray for these folks and know that our prayers are heard. Listening this morning to stories of how God has impacted the lives of people it occured to me that I have never suffered any of the kinds of things these people have. I've known Christ since I was 8 years old, I never drank, never smoked, saved myself for my husband, and am raising my children in a Christian home. Now don't get me wrong, we have our struggles but nothing like some of the things that we hear others go through. I think it is important for my kids to know that although God is going to be with us through all the dark times, He is also there when things are going great. He's there for the day-to-day stuff. When they make a bad grade, fight with their brothers, or lose the championship ballgame. He's also there for all the simple stuff too. He loves just being there when they are wrestling around in the living room, playing with the dog, and harrassing their mother. :) I want my boys to know that you don't have to do anything "bad" or dramatic to feel God's presence in their lives. Thank you for celebrating the simple times in our lives with us. Thanks for providing music that my boys can sing to and draw strength from in their daily struggles and triumphs. We are blessed to live in an area that has such a radio station.'
