' We found out that my mother had blockage on 3 of her artires but when they went in it was actually 5 and they decided to do surgery on the Saturday of that same week. When the nurse came in to take her to surgery, we all asked the nurse to give us a moment to pray. After we finished the nurse asked if she could pray with us. That just made my day and had to cry which I was trying hard not to do because my mom was against that, but they were happy tears. Mother spent 2 weeks in intensive care with all kinds of drugs and she was never really fully awake. She had many prayers said for her during her 2 week stay at the hospital. When it was nearing the end of the 2 weeks, the doctors said if they could not get her off the ventilator they would have to make an incension on her throat. That is when I asked myself where are all the prayers that she was given in the begining of her surgery because we needed them now more than ever! On one of the last days of my mother's 2 week stay, there was an elderly lady in the bed next to her and her sister visited her everyday and saw me and my dad sitting by my mom's bedside. She asked if she could pray with us and we said yes. Then she touched my mom's hand and walked away. The next morning my dad received a call and I thought it was the wrong number the way he was talking. So I went back to my room to get ready to leave for the hospital. I then began to hear my dad start to cry and I asked what was wrong and who that was on the phone? He told me it was the nurse and she said they had removed the ventilator from my mom and she had asked for him and her family. I wanted to thank that lady but when we arrived to see my mom they had moved the elderly lady to a new room on a different floor. I thank the good Lord that day for His angels that are always around us. I am so thankful to say that my mother is doing well and on her way to recovery.'
