'Hope' 10-21-2009| 'Michelle''Taylor' 'KSBJ is a beautiful blessing you help me stay focused on the Good with a positive attitude I want to thank you. Here is my story, I am a breast cancer survivor, being diagnosed in Jan. this year 2009, I started chemo immediately for six months, then had a double mastectomy on Aug. 28, 2009. My reconstruction is still in progress and I will continue with preventive treatment (herceptin) for the next 11 months.
I am cancer free right now. I thank Jesus for that, He has been with me thru it all
I also want to give Praise to my fellow workers at National Oilwell Varco- Mission Group these beautiful people have given me hope and encouragement and support beyond all expectations, from the start of my chemo, they have totally supported me in my treatment and getting well and restored. They sent me fruit baskets, flowers and plants, cards always reminding of their prayers and thoughts, and when I was off during surgery and recovery they had a benefit for me, which helped financially, which helped lift that burden from me. They gave me such Hope
I know that I am blessed to work here at NOV and work with such caring, kind, wonderful people... I have tears flowing as I type this but they are tears of joy.
Cancer is a bad thing
