Celebrating the Life of Buddy Holiday

The celebration of Buddy Holiday’s life – one of the founders of KSBJ and the first Station Manager and morning show host of KSBJ – was held on Saturday, October 14th, at the Rosewood Funeral Home in Humble. His heart of humility and love was evident as he was honored by family, friends and those who worked closely with him in the industry.

Buddy touched many lives through 20 years of ministry with KSBJ and by the way he lived always encouraging and mentoring those around him. He loved the people of Houston and shared the love of Jesus on air and with everyone he encountered no matter their struggles.

To honor the life and many hours Buddy dedicated to leading and overseeing KSBJ’s beginning, balloons with KSBJ’s logo were released after the service. As they lifted to the sky, many joined in worshipping together singing “To God Be the Glory!” – words Buddy lived by and often declared.

Buddy’s family has asked that memorial gifts be given to KSBJ in honor of him. Let’s continue his legacy of love by giving generously to ensure the Voice of Hope will reach out through this ministry, so more lives will be changed with the message of Christ for years to come.
