Have You Heard?

I wanted to thank you SO very much for the ministry that you have at KSBJ. I am a returning listener with MANY years break in the middle. I originally listened on 88.1 in the Buddy Holiday era just shortly after you came on the air. In fact, I attended a KSBJ concert with Amy Grant at Astro World in 1983 instead of going to my Senior Prom. It was AWESOME!!!! I moved away from Houston shortly thereafter, never forgot how much I liked listening to KSBJ. A short time ago, I was going through some boxes in our garage as we were moving and ran across my 88.1 KSBJ mug, and suddenly, it occurred to me. In today’s modern age, SURELY there is an app for that. There, of course, was.

I have since been listening as much as I possibly can, and it has greatly aided me in recovering from an episode of depression deep enough to hospitalize me. Whenever I am having a “bad” day, KSBJ always lifts me up and helps get my head right in a right place. I can truly say that it has been a MAJOR player in my recovery. We DO have a couple of other stations around here….I have listened to them, but for some reason that I can’t put my finger on, they don’t do the trick. I find myself drawn to KSBJ and the music you play. I love that you play songs that lift the LORD high. Please continue to stream online. I don’t know WHAT I would do without the ministry of KSBJ…Keep up the Ministry.”

P.S. #Lovethatsticks came to Joplin, MO last week. Placed a few in the local Wal-Mart that was rebuilt after the tornado here. I simply put KSBJ.ORG without the digits. Didn’t think they would be able to pick it up at 89.3 any better than I can.
