Team HOPE on the Road AGAIN!

By: LaRanda Burke

Team HOPE rides again this month as we return for the fifth year as a participant in the BP MS 150, April 12-13. The two-day Houston-to-Austin 180-mile bike ride is a benefit to help end multiple sclerosis and is the largest annual fundraiser for the National MS Society: Lone Star.

KSBJ Team HOPE is so much more than a cycling team and the BP MS 150 is much more than a bike ride. For us, the 180 miles to Austin is our mission field as our riders and volunteers act as missionaries of hope to those we encounter along the way.

In this one weekend, we have the potential of sharing Jesus with over 20,000 people! Even what we wear shares a message of hope as the back of our team jersey and t-shirts read “Need Hope? We Pray . . . God listens.” With 150 KSBJ Team HOPE ambassadors wearing hope and sharing hope, we are expecting to hear great testimonies of lives impacted for Christ.

Your gifts make hope-filled outreach events like this possible. Thank you for partnering with us to be Houston’s voice of hope, connecting people to God every day, and many thanks to Cornerstone Home Lending for sponsoring the team and Christian concert held at the half-way point on April 12th.
