Use Passwords to Unlock the Power of God’s Word

Every day I sign into my computer at KSBJ with a password. What if I used that password as a daily reminder to change? I decided to use a scripture reference and a word or two from a verse as my password.

I have been doing this every day, and every day it has helped me refocus. If I am not on my computer for a while, it goes back to the “lock screen” where I have to re-sign in and re-enter my password. Every time I do this, I enter that verse and I am reminded: There is power in God’s Word and that power can help us change.

Here are some examples of passwords you might consider: Isa53:5Healed!, Gal5:22patience, Eph4:29Edify, Isa4110Nofear, ICor13Love, Phil419Godwillsupply, ICor6:19healthy. You get the idea.

Make up your own passwords based on where you want to grow this year and see what happens. And if you forget your password, well, pick up your Bible and start with Gen 1:1 until you get there. . . .

Thank you for your support for KSBJ! It unlocks the power of God’s Word in the lives of listeners all across Houston. You make it possible for us to create the kind of radio that encourages listeners not only to “sing along, but live along with us,” and impact lives for Christ.

I am personally grateful to you for helping others grow in their faith by supporting KSBJ. Your continued prayers and financial support are crucial in 2014 to help unlock God’s message of hope for many who are still seeking.

Blessings,
