Weather The Storm

Weather The Storm: Hurricane Season Prep

Weather has a way of being unpredictable, and there are few things in nature that are as destructive as hurricanes. In 2008, Hurricane Ike hit the coastal area, causing $30 billion in damage, displacing hundreds of people from their homes and shutting down multiple businesses. And since Hurricane Ike happened, close to 1 million people have moved to the Houston area, many of them having never experienced the dangers of a hurricane or tropical storm. That’s why we at KSBJ want to help you prepare for the possibility of a hurricane hitting our area and the best way to prepare is to plan in advance!

Preparing gives PEACE of mind. As you prepare, remember God’s promises of peace, protection, and provision in the Bible. We can react a little differently to storms than most other people, because we have HOPE!
