KSBJ to Acquire KUHA-FM from the University of Houston System

KSBJ Educational Foundation (KSBJ) and University of Houston System (UHS) announced today that they have entered into a purchase agreement for KSBJ to acquire KUHA-FM from UHS. KUHA-FM is a 50,000-watt noncommercial station serving the Houston market area.

KSBJ Introduces New Morning Show

KSBJ is excited to announce a brand new Morning Show with Rachelle & Carder beginning Monday, February 1. KSBJ listeners will hear a familiar voice as Rachelle Reneé moves from KSBJ’s Afternoon Show to bring enthusiasm and laughter to listeners’ morning commutes. A new voice will join Rachelle as Carder Price signs on from KSBJ’s sister station, NGEN radio, where he hosted the Morning Show.

Historical Year for KSBJ Annual Fundraiser

June 25, 2015

The summer is off to an amazing start for KSBJ, Houston’s number one contemporary Christian radio station, despite Tropical Storm Bill, a lightning strike to one of the KSBJ transmitters and a phone outage during the beginning hours of KSBJ’s annual fundraiser, Sharathon. In fact, not only did the ministry of KSBJ meet their annual operating goal of $265,000/month, but received the station’s largest donation to date from a well-known Houstonian.
