KSBJ Celebrates 30 Years in Houston with Star Studded Concert

HOUSTON (April 29, 2013) – Celebrating 30 years of music and ministry, KSBJ will laud the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on May 11 for KSBJ’s 30th Anniversary Concert: Together We Serve produced by Special Events. The concert, beginning at 5PM, will feature a star line up including MercyMe, Switchfoot, Francesca Battistelli, Chris August, Family Force 5, For KING & COUNTRY and some very special guests.

“I really love our birthday concerts because they are KSBJ’s gift to the community. We work hard to make these ticket prices especially low, so that we can accommodate as many people as we can,” explains Tim McDermott, President and General Manager of KSBJ. “This year is going to be especially meaningful because we are embarking on a journey to see our city transformed. The 30th Anniversary Concert will be a large kickoff event to encourage people to get involved and make Houston an even better place to live.”
