| I phoned my pledge in just before noon today to help get you past the monthly operations goal.
I began giving to KSBJ a couple of years ago because of my granddaughters. I started taking them to KSBJ sponsored concerts and it made such a bond between us plus gave them so much positive input that it became something we regularly did. The Barlow Girls in particular have been a God send with their values. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate that influence in their lives. So that is how I began.
THen last year I increased my giving to equal $5 per month per grandchild and great nieces and nephews, so that took me to $35. I had a new grandchild this year so I was ready to give $40 per month.
Then, one of the volunteers working their at this moment, Christina Oliveras, my friend and colleague, took her vacation day and gave it to KSBJ by volunteering to be there all day today. And God told me to up it to $50 in honor of her and her family. She has been such a blessing and inspiration to me. I just wanted you to know how special she is since you have the blessing of spending time with her today.
