Hosting the overnight shift on KSBJ, Duane is the friendly voice after midnight. Originally from Arizona, Duane studied at the RB Broadcasting School. He’s been with KSBJ since 1993, and though it’s not always easy to work while most people sleep, Duane is so grateful that he gets to do what he loves—take prayer requests, encourage listeners with words from the Bible and play great Christian music. He has been married for over 30 years to his wife, Sharon. They have one daughter, Sarah, a terrific son-in-law, Matthew, and three precious grandchildren. Duane enjoys sports, reading, and traveling.

Here is my testimony. I'm inspired by strength in myself and my daughter. Here is my testimony #Testimony Brandy Jones My name is Brandy Jones and I am 37 years old. I was born into country living in Tennessee and raised on a farm there. On February 14th, 1993 my parents divorced, my world was shattered! My mother and I moved to Daytona Beach, FL the summer of 93. In Florida I felt like an outsider, so I pushed myself academically. I went to college and attained a BS in Marketing from USF. At 25 I had my son, Dylan, and struggled after his birth with headaches. The Doctor put me on pain medicine to help with the pain. The moment I started taking the pills I was addicted. When I was 28 I lost custody of my son to his father because of my addiction. Two months after losing my son I found out I was pregnant with my daughter, Bella. After Bella was born is when my addiction got really out of control. I got my second and third felonies from calling in my own prescriptions. Last July, my addiction was really knocking on death's door. I had started using anything I could find to get high and within the last year starting using drugs thru IV. I lost temporary custody of my daughter to my father. When that happened I knew I was at my lowest. I checked myself into detox and then came to Saving Grace Women's Home September 4th, 2017. I graduated Saving Grace on September 18, 2018 and completed a 3 month intership working as a PR Coordinator. I am now a staff member at Saving Grace in the PR Dept. I now know that I deserve God's love and that He never abandoned me. God is restoring my health, my kids, and my life through His love. God has shown me that I am strong enough to be who God created me to be. Right now I work in the marketing/PR department at Saving Grace, and want to give back what was given to me. The scripture that I stand on is Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." #fearless is my daughter and myself
Thuy Saad inspires me to step on faith and follow the calling God has put in my life, just like she did by opening up and low cost self pay clinic to help people get quality and cost effective medical care. She walks by faith she is a #fearless woman of God
My sister Jessica Garcia is #fearless and inspires me as an amazing mom, wife and elementary teacher! We definitely need a girls night out!
Don't let Christ's words fall on dead hearts and deaf ears; but bear fruit in keeping with repentance.

Wrote an award winning book aptly titled, "Christianity Made Simple". One night about 4:00am, I awoke to a flood of Christian topics in my mind. Wrote down the list and went back to sleep. Typed up the list in the morning -- and it became the table of contents for the book I've written that was completed within 6 months.
I was an extra in a movie 😂
I LITERALLY ran into Yule Brennan before a showing of the King and I in Houston. I was getting ready to usher the show, had turned around to talk to a friend and when I turned back around “BAM” ran right into him. Talk about embarrassed! Also was on TV with Kitirik when she was on the air (blog.chron.com/bayoucityhistory/2008/11/the-cats-meow-ktrks-kitirik/)
I was in London on a business trip and was invited to a dinner party for the son of our host who had just graduated from university. I was reluctant to go due to my jet lag but was encouraged to do so. I was wandering through the home when the host introduced me to a guest (but not the other way around). We talked for over 20 minutes...even started to ask him his profession. I knew he was somehow affiliated with the UK govt. After a while the host came back to get him and addressed him as “Your Majesty.” I didn’t even clue in until afterward when a friend told me that is was Prince Andrew. Many had been watching our interaction, and I had no clue...nice gentlemen!!!
I was on a hike on the big island of Hawaii with a local guide. So anyway we might have been in an off limits area of an erupting volcano, when we came across some somewhat hardened lava, and posed for a picture and then the bottom of my shoes started to melt.😂
Recorded a worship album. (Unless any of the artists on your station are on this page, then this will be old news.😂). The first project I was on, I was 12. We got to make a video of that one and Buddy Holly from KSBJ came and recorded a voice over for the voice of God.
Repeatedly order a strawberry/pickle snow cone 🍧 from Bahama Bucks. Oh drive off at McDonald’s drive thru more than once within a few weeks, paying, but not getting my food at the second window my fresh year in college. only to get to my dorm and go back.
Shortly after my husband passed away, I had to buy a new sofa. I needed to get the old one, which was in irreparable shape, out of the house. I wasn’t accustomed to asking for help, so I tried to get it out of the house on my own. I couldn’t get it through the door on my own. So, I took a saws all and cut it into three pieces that I could maneuver myself!
Met my husband on America Online when I was 17. Married at 18, pregnant on my 21st birthday, and just celebrated 20 years of marriage.
I died of spinal meningitis when I was 8 days old, my mother agreed to let the doctors try experimental drugs after reviving me. Most babies now survive it because of my being the guinea pig.
With much prayers & faith, survived Stage 4 Colon Cancer in 2015. Prayers, Prayers & more Prayers....Thank you, Jesus! ❤ Vickie
Given birth to my daughter, LOL.
When our son was 5 years old we ran into Billy Gibbons at a guitar shop in the Heights. We were trying to explain to our son what a music legend Billy was and our son was not impressed. That was when Billy leaned down and whispered to my son “They’re exaggerating. I really own a fireworks stand around the corner” - and then my son was impressed. He couldn’t stop talking about it for days.
Buried my only child when I was 21
Donated a Kidney
Raised three special needs kids! 25, 20 and 18!
Attended Easter Mass in the National Cathedral in Havana. Was almost kidnapped by FARC guerrillas in the Andes of Colombia. Spent the night in the Murzuk desert of Libya. Best of all, met Erwin McManus and started www.oilfieldfaith.com.
When I was 14, my professional children’s Choir went to Europe, sang in castles and for the QUEEN at buckingham palace
Blocked off the intersection to perform the Heimlich maneuver on a driver who was 6’, I’m 4’11. I don’t recommend eating pizza while driving.
