Precinct 3 Distribution Locations

All programming at Precinct 3 Community Centers are cancelled until further notice; however, they will begin distributing water and food while supplies last.
Due to power issues, the following Community Centers will close after supplies run out:

  • Barrett Station Community Center
  • May Community Center
  • San Jacinto Community Center
  • George H.W. Bush Community Center

The following Community Centers will also distribute food and water supplies, but will remain open during normal hours (8 a.m. – 8 p.m.) for the public to charge devices and enjoy free Wi-Fi in an air-conditioned facility:

    Update for July 10th

    Lakewood Church (3700 Southwest Fwy

    have opened their doors to serve the community as a cooling and water distribution center for anyone in need (open 8a.m.-8p.m.). The church is also mobilizing relief teams across the city to distribute supplies, emergency response kits and clean up in areas most impacted from the storm.

      Mattress Mack also has his doors open. 

      The Gallery Furniture store on 6006 North Freeway is being used as a shelter for those in need. Jim McIngvale says, “We’ve got plenty of hot coffee, plenty of food, chairs and sofas to sit on.”

      Academy bottled water distribution

      • Academy Sports and Outdoors will be distributing nearly 8,000 packs of bottled water to the public Wednesday starting at 9 a.m.
      • The 24-count packs of water bottles will distributed for free Wednesday from 18-wheelers parked in front of the following Academy locations:

      The Salvation Army Mobile Kitchens:

      The Salvation Army is bringing mobile kitchens to Houston to distribute food & water. There are four mobile kitchens within the Houston city limits, as well as additional units deployed in Brazoria, Matagorda, and Wharton counties.
