Local Christian charities help bring HOPE to so many people in need in the Houston area. In recognition of the outstanding organizations that enrich our community through their tireless dedication and service, KSBJ is pleased to announce its inaugural Hope Awards to be presented on March 31st in partnership with the Greater Houston Prayer Breakfast and The Houston Philanthropy Circle.

Please nominate an outstanding non-profit organization for KSBJ’s Hope Award below.

Nomination Criteria

Nominees must provide verification of their non-profit 501(c)(3) status when requested.
The organization/ministry should have a minimum of three years of dedicated service.
Their service activities must have occurred between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024.

Judging Criteria

Nominees will be judged on the following criteria:

Demonstrates the love of Christ in serving others
A well-defined mission and vision statement
Programs and services reflect innovation and creative solutions
Must have a proven track record of success
Demonstrates positive community impact with measurable outcomes and benefits

Guidelines:

Organizations/ministries may be of various sizes
Hope Media Group full-time staff members are ineligible to participate.
Nominations may only be submitted via the form provided on our website.
Nominations must be submitted by February 14th

Award Package:

An awareness campaign through KSBJ and its web site
A ministry tool kit with mentoring opportunities through KSBJ and our collaborating partners to help enhance community impact.
Recognition at a city-wide gathering to help raise awareness among businesses and other organizations.
Hope Award recipients will be notified by February 24th

Award recipients will be asked to attend an evening Reception on March 31st @6p and The Greater Houston Prayer Breakfast on April 1st @ Hilton Americas
