If you got a real tree this year, Houston Solid Waste wants you to recycle it. Recycled trees can be turned into mulch or other landscaping supplies and starting today there will be 24 drop-off recycling locations throughout Houston. They won‚Äôt take flocked, artificial or painted trees.

If you do have a tree to recycle you can find a recycle location near you, visit the City of Houston's website.

These locations will be open through January 31.
