Who Are We?
KSBJ Educational Foundation exists to connect people more deeply to God. We are a family of brands with the focus of spreading the kind of hope that is true, permanent and found in Jesus. KSBJ Educational Foundation is located in Humble, Texas.
KSBJ is our flagship radio station. It first went on-air in 1982 and has been striving to be the Voice of Hope to Houston, TX, and the surrounding areas ever since.
91.7 NGEN is an authentic Christian radio station. We play pop and hip-hop, don’t shy away from the tough topics, and embrace music-loving Houstonians seeking to grow their faith and do more for their world.
Life can be hard and overwhelming, and you might not always know what to do.
Through videos, podcasts and blogs, we help connect you more deeply with God.
An event ministry started by KSBJ, the Special Events Corporation is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, whose purpose is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ by producing Biblically-based events and unite Christians to focus on their common love of Jesus.
Passion for Christ
The life-changing love of Christ fills us, motivates us, and overflows from us as we boldly share Him with everyone. We seek Him first, so our hearts align with His. His will is done in and through us and we give Him all the credit.
We are people of prayer. We invite God in, seek His will, follow His lead and encourage others to do the same.
By modeling Christ’s prayer to “be one as He and the Father are one”, we are united with each other in mind, love and purpose.
Because we love Jesus and serve Him with joy, we love people and care deeply about meeting their needs. We mobilize our community to do good works so that His love will be experienced.
In pursuit of being better tomorrow than we are today, we bring God our very best, seeking His wisdom and skillfully executing at our highest potential.
Consistently certified as a “Best Christian Workplace,” KSBJ is a ministry of integrity governed by a group of volunteer men and women from across the Greater Houston area, who serve as the Board of Directors. The board members represent diverse denominations, backgrounds and professions to provide oversight, direction and accountability for the ministry. Once a year, during Sharathon, we take three days to ask listeners to supply our budget for the next fiscal year. We’re members in good standing of the Evangelical Council on Financial Accountability (ECFA) due to our adherence to the highest standards of stewardship.
