"And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins."
Matthew 1:21

About the Midday Show

Jen hosts the Midday Show on KSBJ and has a blast doing it – it truly is her dream job! She grew up listening to Casey Kasem’s American Top 40 and was excited every Sunday afternoon to keep track of the top songs in a little journal. She never imagined she’d have the chance to be playing the top songs in Christian radio! She also loves praying with you and hearing your stories, all while encouraging you with uplifting music. When she’s not on-air, you can catch her watching sports, running, reading, enjoying live music, spoiling her two Pugs Daisy and Ike, volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters and CHARM Prison Ministry and teaching music lessons. And she’s forever trying to remember the lyrics to the songs on KSBJ so she can sing along with them just like you do when you’re cruising the Houston freeways. Her favorite verse is Psalm 19:14, “May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.” Psalm 19:14.

Daughter and I showed our RESPECT to 41. RIP President Bush. 💕

The memories I made today with my family paying our final respects dressed in patriotic clothing while crying at the enormous amount of love Texas has shown the Bush family. All ages showed up today, no political views were discussed just veterans, newborns, students, workers all waving our flags proudly and being a part of history.

We payed our respect today. It was so touching to watch and incredible to see the family inside waving at all the bystanders.

There’s so much I’ll remember- I hope- from the last several days! What a beautiful goodbye we’ve seen for 41. Such an honor and blessing to be an American and witness this historic memorial. ❤️🇺🇸

The locomotive and seeing the soldier and casket in the train car - spectacular!

Rest in peace. Go with God.

Courage. That trait that was expressed by his family and described by those that eulogized him this week. Standing in front of family and friends speaking about a father is one of the proudest moments someone can experience. I did it last year.

I loved loved loved how special his home going was. I watched it from one of thr t.v.s at work and wished I was there. What an amazing piece of history that so many shared today with their loved ones. It was beautiful. Now he's resting next to his beautiful kind loving wife. Rest in heaver Mr.President.

Remembering the variety of tributes and the many people taking part in making the events happen.

I will remember the honor I felt watching Mr. President’s hearse driving down Memorial On the way to Spring to board train 4141 and George W looking right at us and waving thanks for being there for his dad. It was a priceless moment I will treasure forever!

I will never forget the tears streaming down my face as the train passed by. So emotional.
