Today is the last day to apply for the program offering cash for nearly $2000 residents.
The guaranteed income pilot program will help cover living expenses and other necessities for 18 months. Harris County recipients must be at least 18 years old and living in one of the top 10 high-poverty ZIP codes in Harris County.
For community members living in the top 10 high-poverty ZIP codes in Harris County (77050, 77093, 77051, 77060, 77028, 77033, 77026, 77081, 77547, 77091).
The application for the program will be open from January 12, 2024, to February 2, 2024.
All applications must be submitted online by computer, tablet, or smartphone. All eligibility documents can be uploaded as photos from a tablet or smartphone. There is no paper application.
