If we’re not praying, we’re demonstrating a high level of pride in our lives.

Not praying is essentially telling God, “I got this.” If I’m not praying about my marriage, I’m telling God, “I can do marriage.” We should be aware of that. If I’m not approaching God first in my day, I’m showing myself I’ve got a lot of pride in my heart, that I think that I can accomplish these things in my own power and in my own strength.

Prayer can be much more practical in our everyday life to the point where we have time set out within the other things that we’re doing. When I look at all the things I have to do in the day… I have to pray.
