A lot of us go to Super Bowl parties for the food or at the very least we click away from the game to check on the Puppy Bowl a few times – but Donna Kelce didn’t miss a moment of the matchup between the Eagles and the Chiefs. Her eyes were glued to the game because her two sons were playing against each other! Obviously only one of them could take home a win and that honor went to Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs. His brother, Jason, wasn’t so fortunate – but a moment caught on camera between him and his mother after the game is something I’ve watched over and over today.
There’s a moment where Donna taps her son on the shoulder and when he turns to see who it is, his entire expression changes and he melts into her hug. While I’m pretty confident that neither of my kids will ever win a Super Bowl, I really do hope that I will always be a safe person for them. I want them to know that no matter what difficult moment they are facing, I will always be there to comfort them.
